We thank God for doing through us what we could not possibly have done on our own! Through our November '09 Luzon Missions, we were able "to do good works which He prepared in advance for us to do" (Ephesians 2:10)!
It was a valuable opportunity for a holistic ministry. Overall, we were able to impact the lives of 1121 registered people in Tagaytay, Cavite; San Jose, Nueva Ecija; Calumpit, Bulacan and Marikina, Rizal. Of those who came heard the Gospel preached and were offered the gift of Salvation in Jesus, 497 gave their lives to Him! In addition, 962 got free medical check-up and medicines, while 229 received free dental services (extractions).
Everyone who came got fed and received basic provisions of rice, noodles, pieces of clothing, toiletries and other goodies!
As a direct result of the project, a new LifeStream Foursquare Church had been started in San Jose, Nueva Ecija and excellent church plant prospects sprung open in Tagaytay and Marikina!
A special thanks to LifeStreamers and friends who prayed and sacrificially gave as they sought tangible ways of disaster relief for victims of typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng! We also acknowledge valuable contribution from Foursquare Philippines, particularly through the Medical Missions Ambassadors of the Southeast Luzon District of Foursquare Churches. On the local scenes, Talavera, Foursquare Church in Nueva Ecija, Calumpit Christian Worship Center in Bulacan and Jesus Christ Lord of All Ministries of Marikina were equally instrumental to the success of the overall project!
